Many people will be pleased to know the government and Church of England are allowing us to ease the restrictions in church. This means some activities will shortly begin again, while others may resume in September. We now have some more freedom in our Sunday and Thursday services, which means they will begin to feel a bit more ’normal’ again. Those who don’t feel comfortable attending the church building at this time can still participate in the service on Zoom and Facebook. If things change we will keep you informed. Please continue to be mindful of others attending church who may want to continue social distancing. Here is a brief reminder of the changes taking place:

  • Singing is now allowed inside church
  • Face coverings are still expected to be worn
  • Refreshments will be served after the service
  • Coffee morning will resume in the lounge and outside on Thursday mornings
  • Sunday morning children’s and youth activities will resume
  • No need to reserve a seat in church – just turn up!
  • No need to socially distance by two metres
  • You are allowed to socialise inside church with your friends before and after the service
  • You are still encouraged to use the Test & Trace QR code and app on entry
  • Hand sanitiser will still be available on arrival
  • Regular cleaning of the church will continue, as well as good ventilation
  • There will be a ‘Camera-Free Zone’ in church for those who don’t wish to be caught on camera
  • We will endeavour to make some socially distanced seats available for those who require them

Our worship services are also being streamed live online on Zoom and Facebook. If you miss a live service then you can watch the recorded service later on YouTube.
